 YOGA TIPS Below are a few Yoga Tips as you begin your practice. - Practice often! 3 or more times a week will show physical changes for most students within 1-2 months.
- Arrive 5-10 minutes early before class.
- Practice on an empty stomach if possible. If you need a quick boost of energy before class, consider something 'Lite" such as fruit, yogurt, salad, etc. Drink plenty of water prior to class and during class.
- Purchase your own yoga mat. Having your own mat supports your commitment to your practice and your investment within yourself. Mats can be rented for $1.
- Notify the teacher of injuries or medical conditions. This helps the teacher know how to assist you and give you modifications.
- Support your practice. By allowing yourself to experience a Private yoga lesson. Spend an hour with an expert teacher and have them cater the practice to fit your needs. Take these tips into a group class so you can flow like the rest of them!
