Lori Rasmussen is a former health and fitness professional and first discovered yoga about ten years ago in her hometown of Huntsville, AL. “I have always loved dance and movement and was immediately captivated by the beauty of yoga. What fascinates me most isn’t just the grace and strength of the individual poses, but the importance of how mindfully we move from one pose to another.” Lori completed teacher training in Huntsville and taught there for over five years.
Lori recently moved to Sturgeon Bay with her husband and is excited to teach at Sunrise Yoga. “In my opinion, yoga is the richest, most versatile and rewarding form of exercise there is; but of course, it isn't just exercise. It nourishes your whole being. The physical benefits are obvious, but the more subtle changes that occur within are the most beautiful thing. Yoga gives us tools to live a better life and to be more understanding of ourselves and others. It is truly a gift.”
Lori is passionate about helping people live healthier, happier lives.
